Photography in general
The photograph is still very much young, as a concept it was mentioned in the middle of the 19th century for the first time in writing. Translated this means something like that as "Painting with light" in a simple way and that brings it already very much well onto the point which it is a question of in the photograph: Light produces a picture on a medium. Just this changed in the last years and decades with raging speed. Also in the photograph the digital age came: Nowadays pictures keep up in a simple way and quickly the mobile or to be made to a small compact camera, however, and to be looked fractions of seconds after the triggering already. Who would only not like to snap gets himself a reflex camera in order to make first-class photos in high solution. For which device one also decides, the procedure is the same one: Light information pass through a lens and are converted from a sensor into electronic data, these can be given back above the device-own one or for example a PC screen. As a matter of course the photos can also be developed - how it was usual formerly - as paper pictures, many people appreciate to have something in the hand. Nevertheless the difference to the analogous photograph does not consist only in the final result being a matt or shining paper picture. The photographer needs a film which must be inserted into the camera in order to be able to start besides. This has a surface handled chemically which changes through the incidence of light. If the film is full, it must be developed in the lab, which is quite extensive, for which photographers leave this to often professional labs. The decisive disadvantage of the analogous photograph is that the picture can not be considered before after the development.
The motive can not be controlled by that. If the camera was put wrongly, it can be, that the photo completely unsuccessful, maybe even useless becomes. The digital method activated a regular boom of the photograph: Through the possibility of the rapid control of the photo also amateur photographers can correct themselves quickly and work even professional photographer competition. Their fields of activities are as diverse as the photograph itself is: They work for newspapers, publishing houses or also private people in order to fire wedding photos for example. They studied either or enjoyed a from a government viewpoint acknowledged training. Controversial is still, whether the photograph as art or to see as a craft, however, is. Fact is, however, that the works of tall photographers as Man Ray, Helmut Newton or Henri Cartier- Bresson hang today also in museums. Such famous masters who developed the photo science were it also. Andreas Feiniger wrote his great photo lesson which today is still regarded as a standard work since the time could do no harm to the composition rules of the photograph 30 years ago. These rules for the organization of a picture apply also to the painting.
